Check the insulation to see if it has been damp or is discolored. Replace if necessary with good grade insulation.

......and that’s how you remodel the outside of a mobile home.

If you have never seen the remodeling of the outside of a mobile home, this guide will be helpful!

Once you remove the outside metal or old vinyl, you can check to see if the windows have been leaking.

After you remove the old skirting, inspect for any fallen insulation, replace and tape belly board back into place.

The new skirting will look great and will save you on your  electric bill. Replace old shutters with new

If windows have been leaking, repair them or replace them as needed.

The sheating usually adds an R2 insulation rating and it gives the outside walls a flat surface to hang vinyl.

Start hanging your vinyl siding. Do not nail the vinyl tight, leave 1/4 to 1/2 inch of nailhead out of sheating.

Once the vinyl siding is completed, you will want to focus on the roof. We suggest a rollable roofing material.

With that new look on the roof almost complete, remove old skirting.

Conitinue demolition around the home, checking for problem areas.

Rollable roofing is lightweight and goes down quickly. It reflects light and saves on your energy bills.

Cover exposed walls with a durable sheating and nail into place.
